Warmed by a maritime climate, spend the day fishing Ship Creek downtown, hiking the nearby mountains, photographing glaciers or dining at a four-star restaurant.

Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport is a major airport in Alaska, located four nautical miles southwest of downtown Anchorage.  For more than 50 years the airport has played an integral role in the growth of Anchorage and the State of Alaska. Today, the airport has an exciting and dynamic future, with a geographic location providing unlimited potential for moving goods, services and infrastructure to be used in the global marketplace. This airport features three runways with the longest being twelve thousand four hundred feet.

Merrill Field is a public use airport located one mile east of downtown Anchorage, Alaska.  This airport serves as a reliever for Anchorage International Airport and allows private aircraft and local bush planes easy access to Anchorage without all of the congestion related with a larger airport. This airport features three runways with the longest being four thousand feet.
